For High School Freshmen

High Five without Hands

The virtual summer program is a one week intensive program designed to immerse participants in a virtual college freshman experience and learn the basics of what universities expect from their high school career.

HOW TO TELL A STORY

Students will learn the components of a personal statement and finish the camp with a rough-draft that they can build upon before the start of their sophomore year. The essay will be revised by instructors trained by a former college admissions counselor.

College life

Students will learn how to navigate the college life. Participants will hear from current college students about what college is like currently and take live virtual tours by current college students.

sELF ACCOUNTABILITY

Students will learn what colleges are looking for in their high school careers and the importance of learning from their mistakes and growing as individuals.
