Summer College Immersion Institute 2024
In-Person Program For High School Juniors
June 5 to 9, 2024
The in-person program is a five day program meant to immerse students in the college life with a curriculum designed for students to experience first hand what it is like to be a college student. Students will live in a college dorm, take classes at the university's lecture halls and classrooms, and eat at the campus's dining halls. Classes will consist of:

In Person Program
The five day program will be offered at Texas State University in San Marcos, TX.
College Entrance
Essay writing
Students will learn the components of a personal statement and finish the camp with a rough-draft that they can build upon before the start of their junior year. The essay will be revised by instructors trained by a former college admissions counselor.
College life
Students will learn the importance of networking and how to apply for internships. Participants will have a Linked-In account by the end of the camp.
Identity
Students will explore different qualities, beliefs, personality, looks and/or expressions that make a person. They will explore their own self-image before going the next chapter of their lives.
